Priscilla Thomas is the owner and lead photographer of Priscilla Thomas Photography, a Charleston wedding photography studio specializing in timeless, documentary-inspired wedding photography throughout Charleston, South Carolina, the Lowcountry, and destinations beyond. 

Since founding her business in 2008, Priscilla has photographed hundreds of weddings, engagements, families, and milestone celebrations. With nearly two decades of experience, she is known for her calm presence, thoughtful guidance, and ability to document genuine moments with artistry and intention. Her work blends a photojournalistic approach with refined portraiture, creating photographs that feel authentic, emotional, and enduring. 

Raised in New Mexico and South Carolina as part of an Air Force family, Priscilla developed a love of storytelling at an early age. After earning her degree from the College of Charleston, she continued her education in photojournalism and multimedia at Ohio University, where she refined the documentary style that continues to define her work today. 

Priscilla photographs weddings throughout Charleston, Kiawah Island, Isle of Palms, Mount Pleasant, Sullivan’s Island, Hilton Head, and destinations across the Southeast. She works with couples who value meaningful experiences, genuine connection, and photographs that preserve not only how their wedding looked, but how it felt. She can also incorporate both digital and film photography to create imagery with timeless character and exceptional detail.
