Of course, Katherine looked stunning in her lace bridal gown. The intricate lace detail and delicate straps showcased timeless style. She chose petite drop earrings that added just the right touch of elegance to her look.
Her bouquet, filled with vibrant pinks and soft whites, perfectly complemented her bridal ensemble. It added a pop of color that was both modern and classic. As Katherine prepared for her big moment, the excitement in the air was palpable. Her bridesmaids, dressed in soft shades that perfectly matched the day’s aesthetic, gathered around her, offering encouragement and love.

Meanwhile, under the shade of some of Middleton Place’s canopy of trees, Matt stood waiting for his bride. His stylish suit and bow tie made him look both dapper and sophisticated. As Matt looked upon his future wife on their wedding day, he lit up with a smile.
Katherine and Matt embraced, laughed, and shared a sweet kiss during their first look. This moment was intimate and all their own. They took a few moments just for the two of them. The wedding party could wait as these were the only quiet moments they would have on their wedding day.

The serene Ashley River flowed nearby, creating a picturesque backdrop for the ceremony. As the guests gathered, the excitement grew. Fortunately, after their first look, Katherine and Matt opted to capture portraits of their wedding party before the ceremony. We took advantage of the ivy-adorned brick wall near the stables.
The wedding party took time for some playful photographs. Sometimes, a prompt like walking together makes everyone laugh and more relaxed. It can seem like a silly request, but it makes for great photos.
Thankfully, the venue’s natural beauty offered endless opportunities for capturing romantic, timeless photos. Every corner of the property seemed to tell its story. Each photograph felt like a work of art. The lush gardens, the reflecting ponds, and the grandeur of the live oaks added layers of depth and romance to every shot.
Party Time!
Once the portraits were complete, it was time to celebrate. The majority of the reception took place outdoors. The natural beauty of Middleton Place elevated the entire event. The reception area was decorated with white and gold accents that perfectly complemented the dark green hues of the surrounding trees.
The banquet-style tables for all guests encouraged lively conversations. The design created an intimate atmosphere despite the large gathering. As the sun set, the tables glowed with the soft light of candles and string lights, casting a warm and inviting ambiance over the celebration.
As day turned to night, the energy of the reception shifted into full celebration mode. The dance floor became the center of attention, and it wasn’t long before it was packed with guests dancing and laughing. The music pulsed through the night, and the joy on everyone’s faces was infectious.
